10 Goosebumps Novels For The Young Adult

I've always loved "Goosebumps". "Werewolf of Fever Swamp" was the first book I read cover-to-cover and is to this day a very special memory. They were very good at scaring and delighting us as kids, because they poked at our natural fears like killer dolls, scary neighbors, creepy camp counselors, big animals, monsers under the bed, etc.

The truth is that even if we grow up, our fears don't die; they grow up with us. We can look in retrospective and think "How silly of me! How could I be scared of my closet!". This isn't something we can really say when we're grown ups. I don't yet have any real responsibilities like a dependant, or a wife, and I'm sure the fears caused by life when I do will be even worse than the ones we have today. Quarter life crisis can be heavy, and it causes people to do a lot of mistakes and live with some very real anxiety.

I think R.L. Stine should get to work on that.

Without further ado, I give you my ten "Goosebumps" book proposals for the scared young adult.
